i don’t know if i should wait til the 26th, or if i should just go through with this download. but I am currently downloading this movie as we speak and should be able to watch it tomorrow! well maybe this is a random fact you didn’t know about me. i watch korean movies. thanks michelle. not just korean movies, but other asian movies as well. and a movie that i loved and always hype about is soon to come out with its remake. (i don’t capitalize letters much on this blog) My Sassy Girl, is one of my favorite movies. Thanks again Michelle. I still can remember the day that i watched it the first time. i was doing an over nighter at cal poly for my printmaking class, and it just happened to be the day where i had to place rosin on my printing plate. for those of you who dont know what rosin is, its this gooey liquid that you apply on a plate that takes forever to dry. once its dry, you place it in “ACIDDDDD”. and then repeat the steps until you have all the steps done. usually you would have to do it about 3 or 4 times until you get to start printing. back to the story, i had to do all that on that night, so while i was on my laptop, michelle sends me the link to watch the first part off on youtube. so i said what the hell, why not im going to be here for a while. i watched it with head phones, and carefully saw if anyone was around on the part when the guy is naked and gets pepper sprayed. as soon as the scene ended with the two in baskin robbins, i knew i would like this movie. and 14 parts and 2 and a half hours later, i bought the movie on dvd. i really liked the movie, it had the humor and it had the korean twists in it. ever since then i would watch ro-com movies and have my sassy girl as the bar. i did come across one that does rival to it, but ill save that for another day.

i am officially 13% done with the download. 

i couldn’t believe the news when i heard this movie was going to be remade. and i couldn’t believe when i heard elisha cuthbert was going to be the starring role too. ever since then i have been on a mission for people to watch the original version of my sassy girl before the new one comes out. i believe i have been successful with at least 3 attempts, and unsuccessful with 2 (because they kept forgetting they borrowed my movie). i wanted people to see a good humorous movie. its kinda sad for me to say it but i felt that the remake was going to be bad. and when the trailer for it came out, i was going to throw up. you can go on youtube and check the trailer to the US version out. if you’ve seen the original, you’ll notice many things that don’t happen in the movie that are in this one.

it to me is a shame on why movie goers would want to see a remake of an already good film. if they showed this movie in a movie theater, i would definitely watch this movie more than a few times. it actually has been done too. this year in notre dame university, they had an asian film fest and this was one of the movies that they showed, and i wished that i was there to have seen it on a big screen. i’ve heard the reasons that people don’t want to read when they’re watching a movie. i mean how lazy can you be? you’re already sitting down for 2 hours, it really isn’t that hard to read. anyways, its almost 3 o clock in the morning. i need to go to sleep. and by morning the download should be complete! yay, im going to see if its worthy enough to even have its title of my sassy girl!
